About Us

With over two decades of experience working alongside local PCB board shops in the UK and North America, Gary Pagels founded Active Sales Inc. (ASI) in 2004. From the beginning, ASI was built on a forward-looking approach of identifying shifts in the market and responding with strategic solutions to better serve our customers.

Recognizing early on the need for more competitive pricing in an increasingly global industry, ASI partnered with a Taiwan-based PCB manufacturer, headquartered in the U.S. This move allowed ASI to offer high-quality overseas production with the convenience and responsiveness of a domestic partner including three-week lead times and fast-turn capabilities.

In 2013, ASI expanded its reach by partnering with one of China’s leading PCB manufacturers, enabling us to support Tier 1 customers and large-scale production. A year later, we strengthened our domestic capabilities by teaming up with a top-performing U.S. facility, allowing us to serve the ITAR-regulated and quick-turn market with greater flexibility and speed.

By 2019, ASI continued to grow through a strategic partnership with Methods Automation, a respected name in the Mid-Atlantic electronics manufacturing sector. This collaboration further expanded our footprint in the defense and military sectors while continuing to support customers across North America.

In 2022, with rising material and freight costs, pricing became a major concern across the industry. We responded by aligning with another top manufacturer in China who had also just opened a factory in Thailand. This gave us the ability to offer stronger pricing options while maintaining the same quality and lead times our customers rely on.

Today, ASI continues to grow by staying focused on what matters most to our customers: competitive pricing, dependable lead times, and consistent quality. All supported by a hands-on team that understands the industry and knows how to deliver.
